This year's Baselworld saw the launch of a few interesting and foreseen timepieces. After the 2018 release of the GMT with jubilee bracelet with rumours that the GMT Blue would be discontinued, the natural replacement of the GMT Blue would of course be one with a jubilee bracelet; the new 126710BLNR. Still, a classic timepiece, those with access to both jubilee and oyster bracelets can interchange between the two. This year, we also saw the release of the Yacht-Master 42 with rubber strap and in white gold.
The watch that has caught our eye this year, is the Rolex Sea-Dweller steel and gold, 126603. Using Rolex's modern calibre 3235, this movement offers enhanced protection against magnetic interference, a Parachrom hairspring, a Chronergy escapement, and a power reserve of 70 hours. And it looks great in black. Have no doubt that this watch will grace our pages soon, customised to become the Safari Sea-Dweller 43.
